'Dale, without going through all 17 pages of this topic, which option did you go for?

I'm still flirting with the idea...

My performance goals doesn't quiet justify this measurement device.

Was+/- R20k before the proverbial %$#^^ Hit the ZAR...

Now looking at about R24k but one plus is that we will include a free set of ROTOR Chainrings!

Compatible with the Quarg's RRP, more or less.

SRM must be eclipsing 30K now.

very nice. Bit more than first advertised but it's looking the goods. Means you can take it anywhere with you really and get a lot more use. I would, if I was in the market for a power M but my training consists of pedaling as hard as I can until I blow, drag my self home, curl up in the fetal position then try to recover. Not sure it'd help me much.

Another option could be http://www.stagescyc...com/stagespower and starting at $699....

Not sure how you would get one, have launched, not sure on availability...

Nice idea (more compact than the garmin or Look systems) but according to their website

only available in North America

Thank you for your interest in the Stages Power meter. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to those outside of the US and Canada at this time. As a new company, and US based manufacturer, we've made the decision to only sell to North America until we're comfortable growing to support the demand and product outside of that area. We want to ensure we can support our customers in the highest quality manner and we cannot do this until we have our systems in place in other countries.
