In case someone is interested in taking on a difficult and unusual restoration - I recently saw a Carbitubo frame hanging in the rafters at Woodstock Cycleworks. One tube is broken and will have to be replaced or repaired. It is stripped to bare carbon and will have to be repainted. I don't know the size.

Could be, mine is Colnago tape, embossed with an imprint.

A black bike is nice, but I think it ahould be limited to the frame. Picture the first bike with less black covering the curves. ......

I am more of a Retro steel frame fanatic but this Alu Colnago was advertised at a steal with a full 9 speed Veloce groupset and beautiful Ambrosio rims with Campagnolo hubs so I couldn't resist. It is a Colnago Chic (Alu frame with Flash Carbon fork). The owner says that he bought the bike from Alan van Heerden about 10 years ago who in his opinion was the Colnago agent at the time. The bike has been standing on an indoor trainer for the last five years (even still has the trainer tyre on). Can you Colnago fundis let me in on how to measure the frame size on this Colnago. I checked online but everyone seems to have a different opinion. ColnagoChic.jpg

Alan was synonymous with Colnago for ages!

New C60 H.

It's going to have a slightly longer head tube and it's RED

Something about an all RED bike with the right mix of components... excuse the non-Colnago bikes in this thread but it's two more examples. Think I found some inspiration for a respray to my Schwinn.
