Thanks will do. Possible I have not correctly re-seated the gasket before?

The leak is on the left right where the bayonet lock of the PF engages the GH. Bubbles out there and dribbles down when extracting.

hi V12, found it, does this involve opening the machine? I'm clueless!

Take out the PF and remove the screw that holds the shower screen in. Take screw out and screen off.

Then there's a brass piece that sits there that should come off.

You can see the gasket around this inside the grouphead.

Try clean everything nicely. Otherwise your gasket could be damaged or hardened and causing a leak.

I damaged mine taking it out to clean it so leaking more. Still need to replace it.

Couldn't get the gasket out without damaging it by prying it out so if cleaning doesn't work I'd take it out and replace it.

Not if it's leaking around the edge of the portafilter during a draw - just remove the gasket and clean it and underneath it - a 90 degree pick will help you extract the gasket without damaging it - you can buy a set of picks at any Midas/builders/Mica

Must admit I am enjoying the convenience of a Super Auto, although the quality of our water (Rand Water) leaves a lot to be desired. Appliances scaling quicker than before

Are you using filtered water? Like through a Brita?

I have an under counter filter, replaced 3 weeks ago. It's progressively getting worse (scale build up).

My latte isn't art yet but I'm getting the milk consistency there.

If I had to guess from looking at that white dollop - you are stretching a little long and getting too much air into the milk - so it forms a bubbly layer that you pretty much can't pour with - unless it's in 3D - and that's not something I have any idea on.

Milk really needs to be the same consistency throughout the jug - harder to do than to talk about... :)

I blocked off 2 of the holes on the Pavoni steam wand and its now much easier to control! Im pouring the thin milk too long and not enough creaminess i think. If that makes sense

Try unblock 1 more hole now that you have a level of consistency - possibly you don't have enough steam power to make the texture consistent - correctly done, it's pretty much all the same consistency - plenty of steam power is good, but takes quick reactions to get right.

But I still suspect too much air initially - try reducing the stretch phase a fraction - maybe 20% less.
