Braailegend .... not a cool post. Get down to your LBS and take a few pics as things happen or get them to do this for you.

It is like missing your first child's birth because you are too busy watching the final of the local neighbourhood "F" league bowls challenge ..... not cool

Ok as promised some pics! Ill cut the steerer shorter as soon as i have my riding position dialed, pretty close will see how it feels on a longer ride tomorrow

Before first ride at NF:

After first ride:

After wash:

I like the detail on-one put into their components, their seatpost shares the same logo:

Little hard to capture on camera but the pearl paint job looks awesome!

The 19.5" frame turned out to be a very nice fit, the geometry is fantastic and the bike is incredibly agile. Climbs and descends like a demon, i am totally in love with this bike, the SS experience was strange at first, after getting it in your head that you cant shift and this gear is what you got the ride became an absolute pleasure.

Not having to worry about what gear you are in on the single track is really nice and you are left to just enjoy the ride and trail. On the climbs i quickly learned that momentum is your friend and that keeping your speed and RPM up makes the climbs much easier (cardio restrictions taken into account wink.png ) you end up flying uphills with some interesting moans and comments coming from our geared counterparts as you pass them hehe. I have a funny feeling my Scott will be gathering lots of dust in the garage smile.png

I would like to thank everybody for their advice and input around getting this bike off the ground thumbup1.gif

Honorable mention - divernick who had to endure my incessant questioning over the phone and via PM/SMS, you got a taste of my OCD there biggrin.png and to him and his better half for getting my interest going on the SS front clap.gif i am really enjoying it!

Awsome bike I think the SS bug is biting me - how much was the whole built ?

out of interest ... do you pics and pricing lying around on that 18"

I have a pic I took from my cellphone. And I'd sell only if someone needs it urgently, so I'd ask the same as it cost me to get it here.

Damn, just a pity it's a size too big. It's for my wife and she's 1.63m tall, so 18in wont work.

Thanks anyways!
