They are good enough if you run them tubeless at lowish pressures 1.8 down... the sideknobs on the ralphs bite hard...sometimes too hard imo. So it takes a little time getting used to them

I guess I need to play around with my tyre pressure. I am running them slightly above 2 bar at the moment because it seems that they will “bottom out” at lower pressures when I hit big stuff at speed.

BTW, I was running the Bontrager 29.3 team Issue tyres before. Excellent all condition/terrain tyres with good grip. They are very strong and last extremely well. I’ve done 3000km + on one set and the front tyre is still good to go (the rear is up for replacement soon). In the 3000km + I’ve never had a puncture that my Stans did not sort out immediately (and I’ve been riding some sketchy terrains at times).

Stans, tubeless for that matter, is the bomb

I must say, I got my Panaracers on the bike (bought 2nd hand) and I'm very pleased with them. Good grip, and not a single puncture yet.

Fave so far is Maxxi. Seems to be the only brand I can find at the LBS that still supplies a wirebead.

Whats the deal with folding bead? Why dont you like it? Genuine question. Im not saying folding bead is the way forward. Im just interested.

Front: Schwalbe - Nobby Nick (grips like a mother in all the terrain that i have been riding)

Rear: Schwalbe - RR good grip and very predictable
