So, I finally decided to get the closer-to-sublime home theatre setup that I've wanted for a while and splashed out on:

  • Sony EX650 46" LED
  • A full set of Boston Acoustics C-series speakers (250w C226 floor standers, centre, large bookshelf surrounds and a C10 sub)
  • Pioneer KVX-522 receiver
  • Monster XP cabling

(Pardon me for the crappy pics, iPhones don't deal well with low light).

That place has got a lot of my heard earned cash.

They are just across the road from me ... nice bunch of guys who are passionate about their trade.

Had the pleasure of listening to their various systems and headphones .....it is really an amazing experience listening to a top end sound system where it feels like you are sitting with the artists performing.

I just wish I could afford their stuff though :(

How much space is between the speakers and the wall?
