Did a sub 3 hours the first time I did this race a few years ago . I got people here that have never done a cycle race seeded in FF and better . Would have been awesome I think.If you want to experience the 'vibe', take a gazebo, suntan lotion, friends, food(gas braai?), refreshments (for you and cyclists coming by, especially the back markers), and go 'camp' at the corner of Witkoppen & Malibongwe. Did Solomon Mahlangu (Hans Strydom) a few times this morning on training route...and I think the legs are reeeeaaaady . Got mine - E whatever that means. Just one gripe, number collection at Sandton Convention Centre = ball ache. Where do you live? If you're in Pretoria, taking the train is super easy as the Sandton Station is just around the corner from the Convention Centre.
