And it's ugly. I'm struggling to find the value proposition.

Very happy with my Rockshox Reverb dropper.

3 things could be improved/fixed:

The overall weight of the post,

Mine has started to feature a bit of horizontal play which is a bit annoying, and;

Sometimes the hydraulics lag a bit when sending the seat back upwards.

Other than that, it does exactly what it's designed for and works like a charm during races where the other XC guys are dismounting for a steep vertical descent while I just drop the seat and cruise right though.

Okay, you guys (and my mind over the last while) have convinced me... so I've just ordered a dropper. Nothing glam, I cannot justify it for my skill level - but one Giant post under way. New toyyyy!

Added a spez dropper to my new Camber, its the shizzle.

Stevief,

I am trying to see what results the Spez command post has been producing.

What has your experience been to date?

Evidently quite simple to install.

Most of negative comments revolve around nut slap from the rebound.

Side to side play is due to the keys wearing, they are designed to be replaced

Fore & aft play is due to bushing wear, also designed to be replaced

Speed of the return can be adjusted at the barrel on handle bar actuator

(However)

How long have you had the post...it may be time to have it serviced

Spent a good couple of hours reading through this topic and I would like to get everyone's opinion regarding the KS Supernatural Remote and the KS Dropzone Remote? Also how does one determine which travel is better for them? Thanks

One thing I have learnt about droppers is that once you fit one you spend less time on the side of the trail in pain after slapping your nuts on a saddle with a conventional post........Well that had bee experiences of late riding a std post on the ss and fully extended saddle
