Winter here in hjghveld seems normal to me: cold and dry but lots of sunshine, occasion cold front. Lots of smoky air.

The weather I watched on SABC last night showed the heavy rain being over the Eastern Cape today with it spreading over the rest of the country over the weekend. Even then for Pretoria the forecast shows light rain with up to a 50% chance. So that means there is as much chance of it not raining.

The South African Weather Service issued a warning to residents of the Western Cape, the Northern Cape, the Eastern Cape, southern Free State and KwaZulu-Natal, reported the Timeslive.co.za. The warning said a cut-off low pressure system and cold front would move over the country on Friday 13 July, bringing very cold conditions, heavy rainfall, snow and strong winds. Snow was forecast for mountainous areas in the south-western Western Cape and for the eastern Eastern Cape by Friday night. And sometimes he wasn't such a loonie. He told the truth about Monsanto and GMO long before most people knew about it. Hell, I guess most of you here still don't know/don't care.
