why do they still make 26 inch bikes if 29ers are clearly the way forward?

personally i also think riding a 29er is faaar more extreme because you are higher off the ground when you fall thus more dangerous.

You are entitled to your opinion but you're talking crap!

This shouldn't be a debate.

It has been debated and there will never be a clear answer.

26ers are not redundant.

29ers are not the only way forward, if the way forward at all.

There you go.

Cool.

it really doesnt make sense to me why 26inch bikes are still in production especially if you look at the amount of 29ers and how popular they are in south africa at the moment please share your thoughts.

Bwhahahaha what a dick

Can we stop feeding the troll please.

Clearly only here to get the attention.

your display picture is affending to many people who have had good service at cajees...they have offered me nothing but the best advice on which bike to buy.

My favourite bike of all time is my 26" carbon Commencal. I really dont enjoy riding my 29er. I thought it would be better if I bought an expensive one, so I wasted money on a carbon 29er with XX etc. Not for me. Yesterday I rode my 650B for the first time. Wow. Loved it.

Anyone want a new 17.5" carbon Volcan with XX components?

your bike size tells me you to short for a 29er.

went into a bike shop the other day ans asked for a price on a 26". the salesmen went off muttering something about never selling 26" bikes anymore...who cares dude i want to buy a 26" from you. At the end of the day ride what you want and what you like. i want a 26" not a 29" because i like the way it feels - and i know a lot like me.

How many 26ers were there in the front bunch of the Epic? I rest my face

let me rephrase..how many of YOU were in the front of the epic. Yes the 29er has benefits and negatives (which people dont preach about when trying to justify their purchase), but riding one will not make you win the epic - as i have just said ride what you like - not what other people tell you you will like

How big was the tube of KY that came with the bike?

Then again you would defend them instead of admiting that they didnt even buy you dinner before ******* you like that.
