RocknRolla Posted June 30, 2016 Share anyone know where i can find a straight streerer rigid 29er fork, locally and that wont cost more than the bike its going on Good Luck. Dunnow if Kiwi still has some Rapide forks in stock, or is planning to bring some in. Maybe make contact with him. Alternatively, there are some faily sweet deals on manitou shocks on Chainreaction. Around the same price as a higher end rigid fork. I have been looking, as I seem to have ridden my fork beyond it's capabilities.

RocknRolla Posted June 30, 2016 Share I am wary of posting details, some people may think that it's the fork's fault, when indeed I believe I abused the fork. When I say abuse, I don't mean trying to clear table tops. I do however like to manual some rollers and bumps when I get the chance, doing this repeatedly may have aided to the failure.I really enjoy riding the cliffhanger section at VG, as well as bombing down the hill after working hard to get up Nguni at VG. So, I am convinced I have been using the incorrect tool for the Job. not the tool's fault, but the tool operating the bicycle's fault.
