Not riding yet, just waiting and waiting for the frame to be launched, and the balance of the build to show.

 

Got full group set,

Got seat post

Got seat post clamp

Got grips

 

forks on the way,

wheelset on the way

handlebar on the way

stem on the way

tyres on the way

 

now it's between me and the courier companies... :(

It's a new frame, but with the changes as required for the 650b format, be than maybe a shorter chain stay, headtube angle, top tube, down tube etc.

 

not a complete new bike, but the changes needed on a working design to fit the new format.

 

It will be the same head set, group set fittings, BB etc.

Does anyone know if the proposed 650 Pyga is the same frame as the 29'r? Or will it be new geometry?

It is a 650B specific frame.

Haha... Black PYGA with green decals & wheels... Not too sure how many okes I was passing but could've been me.

The frames look hasn't changed. The bike Pat has built up, looks a little different as he's running a 150mm travel fork. So it's 'slacker' looking & feeling then with the intended 120mm fork.

S'true :) Bike looks awesome setup like this. Haven't had a chance to ride it though... Been raining here non stop... Cannot wait.

will see in 2 weeks when they up here, have to remember not to drool to much
