Ye, Ryans right, I got one, just did 45km with the wife and friends, love my bike.

I'm not a bike tester so can't talk their lingo explaining how it rides, just know i like it and and know none well spend.

Makes me smile every time I go riding, enough said.

Where do you stay, what size are you, we can maybe get together and you can have a short ride.

G

These are some really nice-looking bikes.

One day I'll confirm the riding capabilities first-hand ;)

Anyone else besides Ryanpmb have any thoughts on the Onetwenty?

Or is that :offtopic: haha

For those of you running XT rear dérailleurs on your Pygas, can you confirm your cages of your dérailleurs are 'kicked' out as shown in my photos below? This happens when I run on the large/large combo. To me it doesn't look right and is the source of my chain rattle when running large/ large gears.

Here you can see that the lower jockey wheel is almost climbing on to the outside of the chain.

That does not look right, and by the way your derailleur is "bending" its not going to last. Dont use the big gears together.

I know it's not suppose to get to this combination,

but finding that if in the big blade i can get up to about 1/2 up the back, then have to drop to middle blade.

I loved trying to ride all gears in the big blade only, now riding in middle blade mostly and changing up and down the back, but it is still not smooth as i would expect.

IMHO:

You are cross chaining (is that even a verb?) very badly when riding like that. The chainline on a triple setup is not meant to be ridden like that.

If you want to ride all your back gears in big blade you need to go 2x10. And even then riding big blade front and big gear back is dodgy. With a triple up front you are putting way to much strain on all the components by cross chaning like this.

I'm sorry, but you can't have your cake and eat it.

hehhe, but why not daddy, i love having my cake and eating it, what good is cake without eating it, hehehe

asked since I pretty much ride like this atm on my old bike.

guess i should probably get use to riding in the middle blade 99% of the time now and then move up or down from there.

Team G2G out on their 650's. One of those is Patricks own personal bike.

Pats got a few demos, including his. Rode one a few weeks back. Fun bikes! Edited by Ryanpmb

I'd say it's the top picture with the red 650b, you can see the single blade from a XX1.

Both are the orange frames, running XX1. One will be running 1x1 this weekend ;)

agree on the both/orange frames.

the one looks like it has a double blade front (bottom photo, guy with helmet with yellow in it), the top photo only has a single tooth blade in the front by the looks, so guessing thats prob Patrick's.

Correct. That's the riders bike. Nice trail setup with riser bars (renthal I think) etc...

The one belongs to Jason - Good2Go - He runs conventional 3 x 9 with 30mm Renthal Riser bars and a dropper post. Wheels are lightweight, AM Classics, which are not his first choice but he's waiting for better options. Craig is riding Patricks bike - running XX1, ZTR Flow wheels, XO trail brakes, Nice wide Truvativ bars - Very bling, very nice !!

:D

ye figured the one was either a double or triple up front,

never doubted Pat's bike would be a head turner :)
