Hi,

Hoping to start the assembly of an XL oneten next week.

(As soon as the dutch customs are finished drooling over my frame....)

Would like to check the build spec with you guys (& gals?) to see if I need to look out for something so I don't make some basic mistakes.

XL frame

Syntace 70mm megaforce 2 stem

Ritchey comp 730mm handlebar (will replace by jerome clementz bar as soon as it's available)

Hope tech 3 e4 brakes. 183 front 160 rear

Hope green grips

Hope headset

Hope bottom bracket

Ks lev 150mm dropper

Full x01 group but with 28T Wolf Tooth spiderless chainring

Hope evo 2 hubs , 40t ratchet

Ztr flow ex rims

Nobby nics 2.35

Sram/gore rideon cables

And my old specialized phenom sadle.

Doesn't look like there any problems at all with that! Looks like the ultimate build to me! Good luck, hope you enjoy it

Hells teeth, why are you asking for advice?

The Noni's 2.35 are pretty wide & chunky… I have them on my 650. That's the only thing I would question. Depends what you want to do though.

Well, maybe I've overlooked something or maybe there is a known issue with one of these parts.

The noni's are for the muddy winter trails here. Will switch to something "less tractor" in our summer.

"Hells teeth"??? Never heard that before.

That'll be a great bike.

hmm,

I had a guy contact me a couple months back, was fitting the Hans Damph's which was also 2.35, only problem was the rear tyre was at times rubbing against the chain stay (on the right side). Don't recall if he found the problem, if it was tyre, wheel fitment or something else.

Mine fortunately sticks out far enough that the clamp fits but you need to be careful of the hose. I do however clamp my frame there and never had a problem. What damage have you seen?
