I hear you , but its just to bring the shine back after use with turps , dont go rub the crap out of it because then it will rub it down. i have buffed many a bike to show room condition no problem .

Yea my problem is I have a matt lacquer on my bike.... so some times you need some creamy peanut butter : )

Flight hand cleaner.

Smear it on thick, leave for half an hour, wipe off with a rag and then rinse with water.

No damage to paint, easy, quick.

You get bespoke tar removers too - I think mine is a McGuires product. Worked like a charm when I had tar all over my bonnet!

Tar on your bonnet? Keep the wheel side down man!

I have to travel 2km on tar before my Trail Starts. :eek:

 

Don't say that out loud. Some members on here will **** their best panties to have to do the smallest bit of road on their precious MTBs :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
