of bike weight my pivot is 11.6 kg at its lightest with XT group, Arch wheels and Formula brakes

got an Alliante saddle, tried shaving weight trying the Spez saddles but Sadly those saddles turned out heavier and way more uncomfortable ...

Ultimately at a certain point bike weight will come down to how much pain you are willing to go through, light saddles, lightweight tyres, rigid forks, superlight grips ( that can kill the wrists)

Then there is the pain of forking out when some superlight component goes tits up..

so I take it you don't like to pump? :-P

I think she does, but she always does it at home the night before a race.

Since she beat me, one can only assume its a winning formula. :whistling:

So the cinderblock in my backpack is not helping?

Har, bloody har. Make one overly obvious comment and prepare to get roasted! :(

And you have lost 5kg because your bike took all your budget right?

Not really, or should I rather say, I did not notice.

sheesh! that's pretty heavy. Must be those wrong-sized wheels!

My 160mm AM bike (including a reverb, but excluding saddle bag cos they're spaz) comes in at only a tad over that!

:P

youll be the spaz without the saddle bag carrying your bike down the hill
