but I can promise you a 29er is better in all aspects

Most of the salesmen at the bike shops also says that a lot, they also recommend getting XC bikes, cleats & lycra, I wonder why?

Surely it's up to personal choice? 29'er or 26'er, whatever.

Stop trying to convince others that it's better. Give us more options instead! That is the problem I have with bike shops these days!

If you are not kitted out with the best of this & that, or don't ride a 29'er, you have a kuk bike.

Every time a Merc AMG pulls away, it cancels all the effects of all 29er combined on the rotation of the earth, so dont worry as long as there are still AMG Mercs on earth, ride your 29er with no worries.

There is a 585Kw conversion for the CLS 63 AMG,just in case you need more power to move the earth and tear up the roads.

...is that it messes with the Coriolis effect of the earth - every time you pedal the earth slows down or speeds up on it's axis, thus aiding natural disasters like tsunami's, tropical cyclones, and the hole in the ozone layer.

if you care about the earth, you won't ride a 29er

I wonder how long intil they bring out a 29er tandem, imagine the effect with 2 manpower instead of the usual 1...

the problem is that try as you might it simply looks wrong - just because something is practical, it doesn't mean it makes it less of an eyesore - think of a 29er as the Crocs of the cycling world...bwaaahhahahahahahahahaaaa!!!!

life is not all about racing, ffs

how many people drive around in formula one cars?

Are you comparing 29ers to F1 cars and 26er's .....?

Shame guys, we shouldn't be too hard on this poor lad (sadam) I think this is a manifestation of a very deep rooted insecurity. You know, he's probably a little snot kop that gets R50 pocket money a week, c'mon, how will he EVER afford a 29er,..maybe a Avalanche in 3 years time. So sadamitjie, once you are big, strong and earn a salary like the rest of us, rather go and wipe your nosy on a Barney the dinosaur thread or something, this website are where the Big Boys hang out. All the best, and Oh, happy 5th birthday, we all love you.

Do you go around comparing your huge Weiner to everyone else?

26er isn't much different to 29 but it is different. I came 4th at last weekends race on a 26er. I can ride well enough, but I can promise you a 29er is better in all aspects

Did you know Scott are no longer manufacturing 26ers for next year?

According to the 2013 Scott Catalog there are plenty 26" Sparks available. Do you mean 2014????
