Well from my view, the Milo/Nesquick is just a nice treat for a kid. It wasn't intended as nutrition for anything lacking in the diet. The USN kids nutri shake is specifically intended to make up for a supposed lack of protein/nutrients in the diet, or for very sporty kids apparently needing extra nutrition above what a good normal diet gives them.

Or, just like McDonals, Wimpy etc etc, hook your prey early and drag him along for life! It is a proven marketing skill with multi-billion rand future pay-off, market to kids in what manner you can dream of, it sticks, they build brand confidence en voila! Customers for life!

I think we all agree its snake oil to a large degree, but when they do the analysis in 20 years, the facts will be there that the current users in 2032 were influenced by the marketing of 2012!

Back to the good doctor and his argument...thank you, we believe the industry should be regulated and that regulation should include the Red Bulls etc!

Hi guys and girls

I am JarradVZ.

I am a mountain-biker and a bit of a Hub creep in that I'm around a lot but I don't say too much.....

Well your posts have always been of value over the years and I also agree that one should challenge companies to their products and claims in public.

Wasn't there a case of a couple of Rugby players either last or earlier this year bust for contaminated ingredients from a product sold by the same Company?

Really....thats good and impressive.

We usually have takeouts once a week, but normally nandos (flame grilled)

Or we make our own pizza.

We also make our own chips, burgers and pizza.

Fortunately the fast food culture hasn't caught on here yet.We only have PizzaHut, McDonalds and Quick(european version) here .
