Should there be enough peeps interested, we can arrange for two groups right off the bat.

I'll be in for those.

Did my 1st Burger last year and thought it was a great race. Climb at the beginning wasn't as bad as i'd been expecting and from then on it was just a nice, fast, pedal fest. Little bit of wind but nothing that hectic and clocked a decent time for the Argus seeding.

My only thing about it was a mate of mine entered the 92, got 3 punctures before the top of old H', blew a good time so just did the short route for a cruise.

He hit the mat at the end and was awarded this time for the 92k! Jammy git was thrown to the lions in the second seeded group for the Argus despite not getting out of 'P' the whole season.

There is a new stretch of road from close to the tunnel that comes out just before Wellington. Brand new super smooth surface. I reckon they will use it in the race which means you effectively cut out the stretch through Paarl to Wellington. Would make the route only about 3km shorter but much nicer and probably safer

That new bit of road is awesome and definitely makes it safer by cutting out the the turn at Dal Josaphat Stadium! Super smooth and fast.

I was wondering something - I broke my scapula and tore some rotator cup muscles at the Lourensford MTB the other day.

I have kept up some spinning classes 3 times a week after 2 weeks rest - The start will be about 8 weeks from accident date - do you guys think I will be healed enough for a road race of this distance?

I have an argus entry so would like to try out a similar distance to gauge it.

My body feels ok but have not been on the bike yet.

How far down the line are you with the fisio etc? Speak with your fisio first, but you should be ok by then

Good news guys. There is an possibility that we might have an actual, genuine, bona fide BIKE MARSHALL escorting us on Saturday

Thanks for the offer, Az.clap.gif clap.gif
