Maybe just a related question here?

OK I know its not much BUT I do a 18km ride before work 2-3 times a week and then try and go as hard as possible (doing this for three weeks now) the route stays the same, but on a few occasions there has been about a 850m difference, even though I virtually rode exactly the same route, even all the small klippies etc. What could be the cause of it and how accurate is Endomondo really compared to Garmin/Bryton

I see Strava has updated their App with crashes and bug fixes some of the issues fixed. I suggest also uninstalling the APP completely and then downloading and installing the new App. Once done, hard reset your phone by holding in both buttons until the Apple logo appears. It also helps to clear the cache by stopping all background apps. Wife and I have both Strava and Endomondo and they work fine on Iphone 4 with Ios6.

My Strava was not lekker, deleted and installed again. Perfect. I would suggest to try it. Updates didn't cure the lag.

Strava doesn't need data, I also turn mine of completely.

Then I went for a run, listened music through the normal app, phone lagged then restarted. Might have to use Winamp next time. This was on android.

I have the free version Endomondo, but can't seem to upload any statistics in order for me to log a proper rides diary and comparison. Do I need to upgrade in order to do this?

Your statistics are automatically uploaded if you track using Endomondo. Have you tried accessing them from the Endomondo site on your PC?

If you mean that you want to upload workouts from a different device, you can log onto the Endomondo site on your PC and in the right corner you'll see New Workout. From there you can import a file from your device (usually in .gpx format)

I did not know it uploads automatically, but I can't seem to find them on my PC when logging into Endomondo site. Both emails and passwords are the same though.

My signal drops instantly on Strava (but im thinking its iOS7 because it started happening since I moved over from iOS6)

guess I'll have to wait till September again ;(

hmm, so I will wait to go to iOS7 then...

OP you on a 4S or just a 4? Have not had any problems with Strava yet, but with Endomondo I lost a huge part of a ride out in the east of Pretoria.

Another thing I have noticed is on my iPhone 4 I get different readings than a friend of mine with a iPhone 5, same app, same ride, same everthing, different readings. Why will that be?
