Just when all the racism, bigotry, ignorance, arrogance, brand/lycra/SS/29er/made in China snobbery & BS threatens to get too much on this here forum, along comes a thread at encompasses all that's good with TheHubSA.

Well done to the OP - you have my respect, envy and admiration.

So this afternoon i started tinkering on the frame again and i thought, hmmm stuff this i need to see this piece of handy work with some parts on. SO i just had to do a quick mock up build. Here is some more pics w00t.gif

Must say im feeling really proud at this very moment clap.gif

PS. The seat is just balancing on the isp hence it looking a bit out op proportion. Still need to add the stubby.

I know it's probably that you haven't finished polishing the frame but the polished, shiny look into matt carbon looks good.

As promised a better pic taken in the sun of the head tube junction. Headset fitted loosely for measure. Think its really starting to look schweet if i have to say so myself drool.gif

Final clear coat layers will be added once i get the whole frame looking like this.

Looks pro thumbup1.gif

What will you be doing for a BB, pressfit or fitting a threaded sleeve?

The BB shell was made with ID of 41mm for pressfit yes as it was the easiest to do. Next frame i will probably experiment a bit further
