This race has earned it's reputation for being a bike breaker. Plan on buying a new chain, cassette, BB brakes pads and gear cables to get your bike running after the race. The high pressure wash after each stage will trash the pivots on you full susser and will probably drill your hubs as well. Oh, and the climbs will hurt your legs.
