Was battling to sort my gears out saw my easton back wheel shaft was bent no spares in potch so I'll be using two different wheels tomorrow.That's why I wash my bike before a race.

There was a rigid SS (Ti frame) near me with the rider in baggies of course. Must have been real rough on all those bumpy downhills, I was hanging on the bars all the way with the lefty pumping

Had a good ride according to my standards. Henry Uys's time and the top riders is totally Mind Boggling to me. They in a class of their own.3Hrs 35min WOW!!!!

I gave up at the 41km mark. Couldn't breathe. Was wheezing all the way. Managed to get KOM on the back of the Bakkie though. ????

 

Need to train more for next year. Damn it was tough. Guess I shouldn't have left my htfu bangle ay home today.
