The Monster uphill isn't that bad, but it slowly sucks everything out the legs and then all the bumps after it seem endless with much moaning.Remember going up the Monster and hearing the huffing and puffing from someone behind me, looked back and saw a carbon rigid.

G-Unit Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 its a no brainer really...anything under 4:20 is a fantastic time imo. Gords klapped it in 4:05 I think....last year Gees, that's quick! I got in just under 5hrs last year and I was pretty happy with that. Better keep training...

The Monster is all about how much you can stand - I always pretend to hear my mother-in-law behind me as we go up there - helps me to stay angry. Hazeldean is close by but the Monster is a real race - BRING DA NOISE!!!!!
