Too many people have the perception of "roads are made for cars"Maybe make them realise that some peoples bikes are worth more than the cars that the motorists are driving!!!Some cyclists wheels alone cost form 15 up to 25k, and thats just for the 2, more than MOST cars FOUR wheels cost!!!We are all tax-payers so we all have the right to use the road be it with our cars or with our bikes!!!Alot of the comments by non-cyclists / non-sympathetic drivers when a cyclist is knocked down, are in the line of "we as road users pay taxes" etc etc, well surprise surprise, SO DO WE, we are also just normal citizens who choose to cycle when we get the time/make the time, instead of sitting at home watching tv, getting fat or whatever else peple do..... So maybe the point needs to be made that we, ourselves, maybe dont pay license fee's, but we do all pay taxes just like the motor vehicle users out there!!!

My apologies, i just got carried away and "vented" as i was reading some comments this morning in an article where 90% of the motorists were leaning towards / using the "us motorists pay for the roads" excuse to find comfort in their own shitty poor driving abilities...
