Leg breaker Posted December 19, 2013 Share I train with John, just a tip, racing elites as not as easy as it sounds, rather get your seeding up to C first. I had to get mine up, and a great learning experience it was... My seeding is C now. You think i should enter ? Thornman

'Dale Posted December 19, 2013 Share Enter, thats the fastest way to up your riding if you are not ready yet Yip.And readiness is a very fluid concept :-)Motivation is a far more important thing. ccc2 Posted December 19, 2013 Share @CCC2 - what happens if you not PPA member and wants to race? How does seeding work?unfortunately u have to be a ppa member. if you are a member of a sponsored team and your seeding is outside of the criteria, the league organiser will allow you to ride. so in essence - ppa member & csa member. ccc2 Posted December 19, 2013 Share Isn't it more expensive to enter as a team? The way I read it, you still have to pay your individual entry fee and then a team entry fee on top of that?team entry is optional - but then u not in the team competition. ccc2 Posted December 19, 2013 Share Do you have to do all 7 races? Can you select only to do the PPA ones?yes but the entry fee remains the same.

StoneW Posted December 20, 2013 Share yes but the entry fee remains the same. So you have to pay R1190 even if you only plan on doing 4 Races ? I can understand this will ensure that each of the 7 events is well supported, but I think if they allowed the entries to be splir per event they would have more riders doing the league at the PPA events. Some riders just want to ride a few races in a stronger field.

But, more importantly, an event has to be budgeted for and organised for based on the number of entrants.
StoneW Posted December 20, 2013 Share Ok I contacted the about2time guys. You do have the option of doing only a few events at the cost of R190 each. lucmccann
