Wishing both these ladies a speedy recovery. Until ALL south Africans start taking accountability for their actions and showing respect for others these tragedies are gng to continue to happen :'(

Are you saying it is the cyclist fault?

 

I bet you these people were not hit because they were breaking a rule!

 

Not saying cyclist should break rules just pointing out that the problem does not lie with cyclist.

This is totally unacceptable. Looks like everyday a cyclist gets hit by a car. Something must be done. One of these days cyclist in South Africa will be an endangered species. Parents will be to afraid to buy their kids a bike.

Hope they have a speedy recovery. Saturday afternoons, quiet but still. too much risk of a drunk who's watched rugby or some other sport to run you over. Or they're speeding to get to the rygby. Or Impatient because they've been in the mall all day.

Nice to see eNCA flight a report on these two cyclists this morning. People need to be made aware of our vunerability while on the roads.
