I like it - its Rallonesque super slack and has good suspension parts on it.

So Merida do an #ENDURO bike ... can't say it gets my heart beating faster thinking of riding a Merida....by anyway

Have spend a couple of weeks on the One-Forty and was very impressed. They have finally sorted geometry on these bkes with good kit and great value for money. If they can get over the "it's a Merida" problem they will do VERY well.

IMO the Merida looks better than the Bird, that linkage just doesn't sit right with me, in fact it looks like a slope style bike and the top tube on that merida is mooi

Spot on Merida!! The One-Sixty 7 - 900 is competing agaisnt some stiff competition price wise, but the One-Sixty 7 - 700 is unbeatable value with those specs. Not much left to upgrade on that bike at all. Fork and shock are fantastic!

And I saw that at the Crater Cruise race on Dstv that at least 3 of the Pro's are riding a Merida

and it is a Merida ...... never been a fan of the ride on them .. sure I have only ridden one bike, but it was such a shocking experience that I have never been back for more.

 

Doubt anyone from Merida is reading this, but if you are, see if you could change my mind by arranging a ride for a couple of days on one of your bikes and I will put up a review here on the Hub

Offense taken...sniff sniff... Lol... Love my merida hardtail, great frame and a great ride! Glad there aren't too many around
