Hi,

 

Need some advice, need to make up my mind about what to get for enduro/ all day riding/ fun bike..

My first choice would be the SC Bronson

Which other bikes?

Bronson is a great choice if you got the budget. Plenty cheaper options though.

"Only" 140mm travel up front and 130mm out back, but I recon is just right for SA Enduro's

 

Yes that is an alum main frame with steel rear triangle.

The Alpinestars kit (jersey in the pic) is available at The Bike Shed.

But like...... what about the short.....???

I think you're neglecting a very sexy option.

 

The Niner WFO 9?

 

Niner SA are now bringing in complete bikes, so the RIP 9 and WFO 9 can be had in any of the standard build kits you see on the dot com site... the frame only options before worked out way expensive to build locally, and getting parts can be a hassle - Not any more :)
