This bike keeps me up at night. The v4 always struck me as a 'get the job done' sled.

But this is pure mischief. Looks like they managed to squeeze in a piggy back this time too.

Piggy back chainstays are available for the older models. But what a schlep to get them!

Happy with mine without the piggyback option. I could always try a higher volume shock or .......

New Commie Meta SX

I've probably been on Commencal's website 20 times, perving on this bike. It's ridiculously good value for money and looks like a proper ripper.

The frame is from a few seasons ago, but that doesn't negate its good qualities. The V4 seems more race focussed, whereas this bike seems a bit more "general AM beast".

I can attest to that. It is an awesome machine and soaks up anything in its way

  • Bikes don’t get more bad-ass than this
  • 150mm travel rear, with 160/130mm travel-adjustable forks
  • Stiffest dual suspension bike Trek have ever made

Well here's hoping. A quick browse of their website provided no clue and only one frame for sale, an Izumi....

Damnit morewood!

All you needed to do was follow 3 simple steps

Step 1: Look at Kona process geometry sheet

Step 2: Copy that and make a 160(ish)mm bike with makulu style assisted single pivot

Step 3: Profit

but noooo instead theyre making a silverback mercury lookalike!
