What's that thing on the top tube behind the steerer?

This color scheme just doesn't want to start growing on me. Thought it would, but no. Think it's the pink....

Funny how we all differ because this colour scheme just won't grow old for me  :D

Looks like the Yeti was the only 29er in that test. Probably best to stick to one wheel size to keep things equal.

Well then they should just call it the "Best 650b trail bike" if you're going to exclude literally 60% of the trail bike market, which includes some obvious contenders for a win (Following, Stumpy etc).  Embarrassing quite frankly.

They asked manufacturers to send them bikes in the 130-150mm travel category. Some refused, some didn't send in time, some sent different bikes than you would have liked to see...

Not the testers' fault.

Most definitely enduro if you look at the spec. Thing is that in SA most of what are called enduro races could be raced and won on a marathon bike - in fact in many cases the lighter shorter travel better pedaling bike is probably a better choice than a trail bike. That said I am not swapping anytime soon...

Hehe. Was thinking along the same lines yesterday while going down the red route at Jonkers. I would probably be quicker down there with the Tallboy, but would it be as much fun as with the Tracer? Naaaah.
