Is there something in the rear wheel arch or between rear triangle and seat post to stop this from happening:

WTF is going on with the bloody bike industry???

 

Just seen the prices of the new Forces ....

 

Force Pro ... with XT Groupset .... $7000 odd ... so R70 000

 

Force Expert .... with SLX ...$5210 ... so like R50 000 ... for SLX!!!!!! Not a F....

WTF is going on with the bloody bike industry???

 

Just seen the prices of the new Forces ....

 

Force Pro ... with XT Groupset .... $7000 odd ... so R70 000

 

Force Expert .... with SLX ...$5210 ... so like R50 000 ... for SLX!!!!!! Not a F....

Half of it is the $$. The rest is distributors thinking that they can make us think that the $ has increased more than it actually has.

Yes you get a neoprene guard that one can clip onto the linkages to keep the muck off

 

or you can just run a rear shock boot.

Example here (note this is for a coil shock but you should get the idea)

I can tell you that it is what I'm running on my Meta and it works a treat

Yup missions answered your question,and ive been using them since the day i bought a dual.. its like a geek pocket protector. :wacko: Def stops wear and tear due to the elements on my trance and 5.5 and their shocks arent in such a precarious position . Havent worked out if it cuts down on maintenance of the shock though.

Coil version not tapered.
