Craig8252 Posted March 5, 2014 Share My new single speed project build is complete! Was really fun to build up a bike from scratch! Full carbon 29er Single speed bike weighing in at 8.3Kgs. Could be sub 8Kg with slightly lighter tyres and rims. It's up in the classified section if anyone is interested in a really light fast racing single speed ready to hit the trails! http://www.thehubsa...._id=82075&new=1 Meezo and Gandalf
anthemic Posted March 5, 2014 Share So my FM029 frame set is on its way, am debating whether I should add paint accents when it gets here, or decals with clear coat, or simply leave the UD Matt carbon and accent it with coloured finishing kit etc.....love me an ol' project. shadowchaser-d Posted March 12, 2014 Share I have a new FM056, in a size 17,5" that is too small for me. If anyone is interested in perhaps swapping for a size up or to purchase, let me know. I finally have all the parts to build the bike and realised with a 400mm seatpost i will be 1,5 centimeter over the max limit on post. I am not keen on trying my luck and hence wanting the bigger frame. This particular frame was purchased from Hong-fu bikes

Hairy Posted March 12, 2014 Share Any Chinese Carbon 650B duallie frames that can take a 140mm fork up front yet and have more trail / AM orientated geometry?

shadowchaser-d Posted March 12, 2014 Share How tall are you? Is that a large frame? If so...I might be interested! My saddle height from centre of BB to top of saddle is 78,5 and with a 400mm seat post i am short of 1,5cm. Not sure what yours is but you can work on that. I am 183cm tall
Squier Posted March 13, 2014 Share Need some help. Was looking at bringing in a 29er dual sus frame or just forking out a little extra and getting one from Booth. I had assumed that it would be the same stuff. However, on carbonality.com it's listed as 1800g and on booth as 2.5kg. Not the same stuff? Why the big difference?
