I know you said local, but I have bought a bash guard from This guy http://www.bbgbashguard.com and the total price was R285 including shipping and taxes. Delivery took 2 weeks though.

How much was postage? From the states can be expensive

$ 5.00

Nice!, I paid $25 for a similar sized item not too long ago. Though they did combine so it worked out to half that per item

Little tip with your saint pedals, fit the two extra screws (on each side) on the outside edge of the pedals. I rode with mine without those screws for a few months and have fitted them now. those two extra screws are life changing!

And remove the spacers. The pins are way too short with the spacers.

I prefer the pedals without those outside pins, because those are the ones that are the most affected by rock strikes.

Pointless having them only to shear them off all the time.

You are not meant to bash your pedals against rocks :whistling:

I'd love a Spank, but to find them listed anywhere online in SA has proved impossible, unless its the personal kind of spanking you're after...

Get off the internet!

...and onto the phone! Call the guys at International Trade. They're the local Spank agents. And they have tons of Spank Spoon bars in stock.

Don't think our local online shops or LBS advertise them

Patch beat me to it.
