Guest Omega Man Posted September 27, 2013 Share Where did you find those? Looking to get a couple too for a Giant Glory as I also don't like the cable & hose running under the main down tube.Ja same prob on my Reign. Got them from crc. There's something nicer on probikeshop but delivery is expensive from them. They are self adhesive which is nice but they are also pre curved so you need to watch where you stick them. I cable tied them on last night just to help them "set" This is them. They come in a 3 pack so maybe 2 packs for the Glory? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/za/en/octane-one-3m-removable-cable-guide-2013/rp-prod88462
Guest Omega Man Posted September 27, 2013 Share Sweet. I just know how particular you are - and if that detail escaped you, well then...DAMN YOU!!! I just went to check. They are about 1mm out. I should have used a cable tie to line them up. What I did was clip them over the cables first before sticking them on. I should have stuck them on then clipped the cables in. Now my eyes are gonna hurt every time i look at my bike. Edited September 27, 2013 by Omega Man
Flowta Posted September 27, 2013 Share Check out these nifty little stick on cable guides. I put them on my DH bike last night. Anyone who knows me will know I'm pretty. Um. particular when it comes to my bikes. I wasn't 100% happy with the cable routing on my DHR so these were bought. I might just get some more for my Reign cos the under tube thing doesn't really work for me on the Reign. Check out these nifty little stick on cable guides. I put them on my DH bike last night. Have a couple of those on my GT, where the cables go over the rear triangle (or between and the seat tube). Significantly reduces the chance of cable rub. My only problem is that the sticky bit didn't stick very long. ended up having the cable tie going the other way. I'll try see if I have a pick somewhere
