Jaco-fiets Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 (edited) After today I doubt there will be any surprises to come in the mountain stages that follows. Froome will be able to react to them all. The guy is currently in a different league to any other tdf rider this year. Well done Froome Edited July 14, 2013 by Jaco-fiets
nochain Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Nice way to make a statement! So much for Sky's boring tactics... Love the way he rides everybody of he's wheel....he almost never plays any games and attacks from the front.Very very hard to do!!
GrumpyOldGuy Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Well, as much as I hate to say it, it looks much like its all over bar the shouting. Â Unless something dramatic happens to Chris, the rest are just riding to hold position. Â I have kinda lost a bit of interest now unfortunately.
dev null Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Major psychological blow being handed by Froome to the other contenders. Especially Contador's team. I think today they paid for the break that they made in the crosswinds.
Pure Savage Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 What an awesome day!! Can't wait to see dish out some more pain to the other gc guys in the alps.
Pure Savage Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I wonder how much Sky will be docked for feeding on the slopes of Ventoux? Saxo and Belkin also fed on the slopes. So doubt it's an issue
Mackie Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Tomorrow is a rest day. Tuesday might just well be another day of shocks & surprises with some big names suddenly finding their legs aren't working. Things are far from over. Lots of twists remaining in this soapie plot for sure.As far as the top step in Paris maybe, the tour is over as a race, wishful thinking....

I think today they paid for the break that they made in the crosswinds. Maybe, I dunno, seeing one guy ride away from the all worlds best, not just some of the best, all of the best, like they were taking a coffee break is just quite astonishing, frankly I cant see anyone competing now, Chris, Porte and even the team are just too good. Its a matter of saving your position now, the race is won. TALUS and Mackie 2
SyncSA Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I'm happy for Froome but, It seemed super human, just feels a bit off. E1A104 1

_David_ Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Just read on twitter that Chris Froome has broken Lance Armstrong's record time for climbing Mont Ventoux in the Tour De France... Don't know if its true.

Don't know if its true. Would be interesting to compare his times with "the era".  Loved Sagan's wheelie! Such an entertainer DIPSLICK and Corrado 2
