i'm looking for some lightweight ROAD wheels for a max of R4k

 

i dont mind buying second hand - they just need to be in good cond.

 

anyone know someone selling a decent set at this price?

There is of course the small matter of what you consider "light weight".

 

Me - I prefer durable with an emphasis on weight rather than just lightweight. Aerodynamic is also a concern if you're into tri/du or love the suicide breakaway.

 

In my opinion too many people are only interested in weight.

Then comes the question of tubbies vs clinchers?

 

I would absolutely love a set if deep rim tubbies but getting a puncture out on a ride and having to call someone to fetch me puts me off them.
