I'm new to this whole mtb thing (2months now)...went to Tokai for the first time yesterday. And the first time i did single tracks...in the hour i was there, i had a few close calls where i could have gotten hurt. Scotty, don't let this put you off. This crash was a lot more extreme than you are likely to have riding ordinary single track. It happened on the downhill course, on a big jump, at speed. I've now just heard that there were 2 falls at Tokai were riders have possibilities of be paralized in the lower limbs. Can anyone clear this up? Is this the case.
