Season 2 episodes 3 Luwin the maester has a medallion made from Valyrian steel..(currently watching season 2 again) what happened to it I have no idea though.. if he has one then the other Maesters may have iand it very well could become important that they do have them as with the return of dragons so the magic returns... did he maybe not give it to Bran at a stage?

Watched Midnight Texas last night, but only the first episode. and it sucks  . But I kinda like the series People of Earth. Different, but funny.

So apparently Gendry will make his return this season. Can't see him being interested in laying claim to the throne, unless his rowboat came with one huge army also never seemed that he was interested in it, but as a blacksmith he may be of use he was pretty good at that and well we know not everyone can work Valyrian steel.. maybe he will be able to.

 

 

And how awesome Arya had 2 aaaaw moments, first when she found out Jon was in Winterfell (sigh although she will miss him again) and when she saw Nymeria .. reckon she'll always be close to Arya somehow.. I hope. Damn Arya deserved some aaaw moments, she's been away from everyone she loves for so long

I just discovered the Kitchen Confidential TV series, a light-hearted take on Anthony Bourdain's ripper of a book starring Bradley Cooper.

 

It is freaking HILARIOUS. Pity there was only one season and it was so short.

Interesting to see the end of the sand snakes last night, cannot help but think that the show adapted them from the books and then did not know what to do with them once the show timeline passed those of the books, never contributed anything meaningful to the series. Don't think many viewers will mourn them.

Just finished with 12 Monkeys, season 3 - real smart storytelling, if you are into time-travel. Season 3 just about leveled-up with each episode! Can't wait for 2018.

Currently watching Black Sails - quite good, was shot here in Cape Town. Must say they do lay on the NSFW scenes quite thick. If lots of nookie and explicit nudity puts you off, skip it. 

 

Recently finished The Expanse - WOW!! One of the most excellent space opera shows since Battlestar Galactica!!
