Watched The Strain's pilot, I enjoyed it. If I had to compare it to Helix, it seems too be a far better show.

 

Also just finished watching Dexter. The series finale was such a let down.

Just finished watching season one of True Detective, without a doubt the best series I have ever watched, very dark and disturbing, but filmed incredibly and stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, download it from iTunes, amazing, was so gripped I watched all 8 one hour episodes in one day.

new show Legends premiered. Interesting enough.

 

A show thats been surprisingly compelling, is Murder in the First.

 

The Last Ship is also pretty good as a 'filler-show'.

Been totally engrossed by Swartwater on SABC2.

 

fifa brazil cocked the scheduling around and now it's wed 9:30 on sabc3 (totally different timeslot to the previous 7:30).

 

Anyway it's really well packaged local drama, if you can get passed Corne not cracking a single joke and with no cucumber in his jeanpant then it's awesome. I reckon there' only 1 or 2 episodes left in the series, philip steyn is very close to getting the asskicking he deserves.
