Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted July 24, 2017 Share Besides for a 68 Beetle, I did a ground up restoration of a 60 Kamann Ghia. Great fun and a lovely car, much more drivable than the Beetle. With a 1600 twinport motor and some good carbs, it ran much like a 356. These old pics brought back very fond memories.same road as you're in atm? Wannabe Posted July 24, 2017 Share Should never have sold my '77 Beetle SP, with Twinport motor.  Worst of all, I traded it in for a '82 Golf GLS. Salesman's eyes lit up when I told him I wanted to trade my Beetle in.
