Aiaiaiaiaaaaai! Definitely some ego issues here ;-) Guess I'll never be allowed to ride someone's slip because I don't think I'll ever be strong enough to take a turn pulling. Unless snails start cycling! (And nope, no guy is ever going to ride in my slip to check out my butt... It really is not worth checking out so I am safe from oglers ;-) )

bwahaha... ok, in that case Northern Farms it is then! ;).. I ride at snails pace... (Note that I have only just recently gone onto asthma control meds, and so I am not fit. Excercise was always a scary venture)..

I once had an asthmatic attack. But the asthmatics were easy to ward off as they got out of breath quickly…

I did what Reg did once, only with roady chicks <I'm overweight and lazy >, till one asked, 'are you drafting or checking out my ass'...so I told her the truth about her saddle bags and ducked into the bush with my 26' dual sus XC single track destroyer...

Also glad to note that I'm not the only farting cyclist

Well if you were checking out her derier than you shoul;d have responded :"Depends are you single or son to be....." then do a wink wink nudge nudge

Getting into cycling, I slipstreamed alot. Many times I couldnt introduce myself due to the wheezing, coughing and lungs being sucked through my nostrils. Later I learned the art of speaking while dying.

sounds like someone is a little green at the fact that a heavy MTB was able to keep up with a feather weight carbon roadie - hahahahaha

Leading the peloton on your mtb feels almost as good as to slow down a speeding taxi or beamer .The best is when you leave them at the first climb .Of course they will catch you again and make sure you know about it .But hey !i just smile and wave .I do appreciate when a roadie compliments me on keeping up on 'that thing '

I can think of nothing worse than knifing through the air on my TT rig, accompanied by nothing but the gentle sound of the wind through my aerobars, the hiss of my tyres on the tarmac and the esoteric bliss of going really fast in an aero tuck, to have some baggy panted, helmet visored, camelbaked dirt rider spoiling the moment with that infernal racket from his fat tyres.

Has to be a slaapstad thing .In Pretoria this never happens .We are just happy if rider doesn,t have a weapon of sorts on him

Kinda makes me feel good that someone thinks I am strong enough to pull them through the wind :P

Maybe these people keep their mouths shut because they know they are being morons.

EDIT: Having said that though, Earlier this year when I started getting back into cycling, I did plenty of wheel sucking, but I made sure it was ok with everyone in the bunch and I am very grateful for all their help.

Three very good comments!

Take it as a compliment, they know they are being idiots, and if you wheelsuck do so politely.

Fixed it.

Uninvited wheel sucker? Wtf, I for one really enjoy picking up random cyclists on my rides, enjoying and sharing in the sport we all love, whether they come through for a turn or not.
