Wonder if Rossi will retire if he wins the championship? Yes I know he has another year left in his contract. Would like to see him go out on top, not like Schumacher.

In a way I hope that he does.  Seeing him fade away is not the way for him to go.

Double winglets as mentioned. It is to provide downforce to stop wheelying as mentioned.

Pretty hideous IMO.

Also why a made the tongue in cheek reference to propellor engines. For the bi-plane look..............

Speculation that they have more to do with cooling ... and as an added benefit anti-wheelie

They've been there since Casey was still on the Duc

Mm has done the same this year as he did a few years back. Was it moto 2 first season where he should of won the championship but crashed to often and Bradl won it I think,I stand under correction ? But mm has done the same this season win it or bin it mentality .

Rossi has been consistent by out thinking everbody and just being consistent. He has by no way been the fastest rider majority of the time.

Damn I hope he wins the championship, most races are on a knife edge.

He did have a few 2nd's etc. earlier in the season, but once he had no chance of winning the champ he started throwing it down the road, overriding a bike that has an obvious problem this year with too much rear wheel sliding into corners and overwhelming him. He even said he will go 110%, so it's not a surprise he has fallen this much this year. Honda seems to have 2 years of good design, then they lose it and go way too much into one direction and stuff it up.

But still my style of rider, wild and loose and almost out of control, awesome to watch, same as Casey was.

Rossi has been improving race by race this year, and now looking like he can actually match Lorenzo in late race pace and out thinks him easily.

Stoner?! Loose, wild and almost out of control?!   Are we talking about the same person?

stoner was smooth like jl & almost boring to watch.

Yes, watching Stoner man-handle that Honda was a site to see!!!! Nobody would ever describe him as being a smooth rider.

If I am correct they are well under lap record pace which is around the 1min30 mark.

Countless pictures on Stoner drifting around Catalunya, Phillip Island, Valencia, etc. Very rarely had both wheels facing the same direction, very similar to Marquez.

But I suppose thats smooth to some.

Watch JL, its like there is a groove in the track that he is glued to, thats a smooth rider. Pedrosa is probably the smoothest rider on board a Honda since perhaps Rossi himself.

Which rider doesn't back it into a corner? Or SLIDE IT out for that matter.

Fixed????????

Not really looking to debate the technical differences between backing a bike into a corner, or out.

Which BTW I would love an explanation on how you back a bike out of a corner?????

Easy to bash past riders compared to current ones, fact is, if Stoner was given a month of prep work(granted he was fit which he isnt) he would almost certainly be on for the win at PI.

Would be his 7th if I recall.....
