Is it just no longer an 'avendurance' race is it no more at all?

 

Any news? Maybe its still happening, just not part of the series. Will be a pity to loose it, one of the most stunning routes/area of the country. Never mind the geology! That mountain is the oldest on the planet.

Also looking through the calendar I see there is no Curro/Hazeldean Trailseeker although #5 is TBA. I suppose it makes sense though since both Beast of the East and the ASG race utilize the same trails.

It's part of the MTN national series which is a good thing, because the Nissan series is more orientated towards flatlanders, and as we have seen over the past few years a lot of riders who do the other Nissan events our out of their depth on that terrain.

Think I'm gonna have to switch to the MTN then LOVED Van G's this year, that was a propper race.

Would be interesting to know if the whole event (and Gravel Travel) was cancelled or just not part of the advendurance calendar anymore.

 

Like Attakwas, still going strong, just not part of Advendurance anymore.
