To the clown who forced me off the road onto oncoming traffic, by riding on the wrong side of the cycle path. Catch a wake up take your ear phones out and look up when cycling. Its bad enough cyclists need to watch out for cars.

 

I was so tempted to chase you and give a proper PK. But it would have solved nothing.

Why not just move over to the other side of the cycle lane instead of going into oncoming traffic? Surely you noticed him riding like a tjop?

that said,i would liek the city fathers to consider building a wooden extension to the bridge so the pedestrians can walk on the other side of the bridge wall. That location is super tight, and one of these days, someone's gonna get tossed into oncoming traffic. Hopefully, it's not a pedestrian.

i agree with u. but he pulled out behind 2 mtb riders. they took up the entire bike lane. i really had nowhere to go other than the road

i agree with u. but he pulled out behind 2 mtb riders. they took up the entire bike lane. i really had nowhere to go other than the road

.......and pedestrians too. They don't hear your warnings or your approach and at the last moment, they get a fright and make a stupid jump in the wrong direction......

And while I'm at it, and it's Friday, they are so distracted by their cellphones or their music, you could steal the fillings out of their teeth and they wouldn't notice. Baah, awareness, no wonder the robbers have it so easy

Yea and then the pr1ck riding on the wrong side suddenly realizes he's on the wrong side swerves to cross over and rides into you >> who is now on the wrong side - then who's at fault ?

Best you don't cycle anywhere near me then, still don't get what the hangup is. I concentrate more and more aware of traffic and people around me, so don't see what the problem is. Just don't have it too loud.

Yep, that section at the bridge is damn dangerous if there are pedestrians etc. littering the road.

 

And as for earphones.... even passing a tjop with earphones is a difficult thing as you know they don't hear you and when you pass they get a fright and swerve madly.

 

My freewheel sounds like a bag of angry hornets and 90% of the time people hear me behind them, but if the have phones in .....

I bet you now I will hear/see you coming from behind even with my headphones in and you never had a bag of angry hornets for a hub. It's about awareness, some people are useless others not so much.
