I think she should have the same amount of suspicion and investigation as anyone else posting. If she delivers the goods, in an agreeable manner, she's a good seller.

 

If you suspect her source, you'll need to suspect everyone's... If you don't like her answers, don't buy from her.

 

I agree with above though, it's seeming like a very unwarranted witch hunt, when clearly there are a few people who can attest to her sales.

the lack of a response does not automatically make someone dodge. They could just be jerky your chain because it illicits this hysterical response. Hell, i'd love to do the same!

 

But we are all to believe that you walk into every single store and ask where they get their stuff from? How do you know it's not a grey import/fake? Did you ask or did u assume? be honest here.

Never did I state Nancyvdw to be a criminal. So why report it. Innocent until proven guilty.

 

That's why I created this topic to become more aware of what her dealings are.

Then why was TheV so badly crucified. He was also a good seller. Delivered to your door. Even pick up at his home. Prices were good and products as well.

 

So if I sell good quality second hand bikes. Source unknown to the buyer. Deliver and have good comms everything seems above board. Pffff please

If I had a source of cheap parts, I would also keep quiet. For all we know, she has found an online shop and is ordering and reselling at a profit. Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe she can clear the air, if there are some doubts that are being put to her, she has the right to respond (or not to).

 

However, I always try make a point of stating my reasons for selling, and I do a fair amount of trade, just so that no one things I am Chop Shop, although i have been accused of being a Tjop at times

you are acting extremely contrary to your claim there. There are channels other than a public stoning to deal with this:

• via PM to the person in question,
  
• a PM to admin,
  
• a reporting of the adverts,
  
• and the seller rating system.
  

Only ONE of which you've exercised. Instead, you've hammered on to the point she will be tried in the court of public opinion.

I disagree, you created this post for exactly that, trial by social media.

 

Rather than ask whether dealings by this hubber were ok, to which you would have been advised yes... You opening heading of who is? Pretty much sums up an acusory stance that not is all above board based on some answers you did not like.

 

Personally if I am a female with a lot of stock at my house which is of a great value, I too would be less than forthcoming with info which is none of your business.

 

I know of at least one hubber here who sells a lot of stuff both parts and built up bikes. I have been to his place when have bought an there are bikes and parts everywhere, he has also not been open to saying how he gets all his stuff but I do know some of it comes from insurance auction sell offs as well as police sales of retrieved stolen goods that have not been reclaimed by their owners or have been paid off by insurance.

 

Why will he not say exactly, probably because he would not want additional competition at these sales and auctions.

 

No one ever asks or queries them!

I have been reading all the comments and so far, there are no facts proving this person is breaking any law. She is under no obligation to reveal her sources, just as we are under no obligation to purchase from her. Free world.

It is why he can sell off the Marcello frames for next to nothing as the frames have been stripped of the grey imports and the frames are just excess. ... It maybe, then again it maybe not the case
