We'd appreciate it if, once we've rebuilt the jump, all users could maintain a look of dreary solemnity so as not to alert her fun senses.

Maybe future jumps should have concrete bases so that at least she has a challenge to destroying them!

As Patchey has stated the offending soil was removed. There is still a slight hump on the right to get some sweet air, but it ain't what it used to be. Sad thing is if the moles do burrow there the heap they leave behind will look quite *** until the grass eventually grows back.

Lets not point fingers too fast, we're not 100% sure who or why that beautifully grassed hump was removed.

This. Then she can listen to MTB'er whooping across her driveway all day long - heck we can just as well do a 24 hour race utilizing that part of the "trail"

We could call it a 24 hour Enduro :whistling:

About 18 months ago they removed some huge jumps hidden in the trees there. Maybe the only thing we can do there is to create a drop off one of those big drains on the wall itself. Don't need much sand... :D

I vote for this, just because I dont have to pedal much down there to pick up speed to get some air :)

(I am the laziest when it comes to pedalling)

Bit of a problem given your hobby choice!!!

Next time we build and she comes stomping over just give her a bottle of Gin and a naughty magazine.

If anyone needs me to be the "Experienced environmental scientist" I can totally play the part....

Is the soil still there? Can we rebuild?

Yes its all there, they just leveled the bumps, after the next rain it just needs to be packed up again and reshaped.

If we can find out who it is I vote we have a midnight mission to rebuild and at the same time weld the f**ckers gates closed.

There was also a guy there one time who interrupted some intrepid students who were in the process of making a second mole hill about half way along that straight (its pretty poor as only 1/2 a trailer got donated). He was ranting a bit about safety and was about to take pics of reg plates so a hasty retreat was in order.

So I finally got my fat ass onto the Byron line yesterday. Got to be honest, weighing 100kg's (I'm 6'5") and riding an XL 29er, it's damn near impossible to carry enough speed into the willow jump. But perhaps with practice and less Christmas beer on my gut...? Anyway, the two jumps thereafter are then great, I nearly came pipe on the second mole hill and then nearly shat myself (sorry for the language admin, it's just a statement of fact) for the jump where you've got the exposed sand bags. I pulled soft on that one, but will be back today to stare it down!

Great work guys! What a great bit of fun!
