Very quiet in the office today; trying to find something to keep busy whilst nursing my aching body. I managed a decent(for me, anyway) mtb ride yesterday, but left too late - the heat was a beast. Back to work before first Monday of January is a waste of time, and as pleasant as pushing pins into your eyeball...... Glad I'm not alone.

Its bloody hot in Cape Town and while all those people on holiday are sweating and getting sun burnt, I am sitting in a nice cool air-conditioned office. Moving into a brand new house at the end of Jan. Saving my leave for then so I can be there to make sure the guys put everything i.e grass, paving etc in the right place.

Hauled my lazy donkey out of bed early to squeeze in a ride pre-work, so not all bad. 18 April - 5 May book leave before the other holiday wekka's are back
