Frosty Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I've stopped using these challenges, or rather stopped worrying about trying to be top dog, or as close to top dog as possible. Same with Strava - nice to keep an online history of rides, routes, etc., but that's about it. It's difficult to compete against guys that post 2-3 rides of the same/similar distance on the same day, leaving at the same time, with very much the same ride data. Here's one example... 4 laps of 947 cycle challenge on 16/11 -2 laps, yes - but 4 (wtf?)

Until I saw the duplication :-)

Your distance is feasible, well done -guess the results show it too

Your distance is feasible, well done -guess the results show it too In my matric year (once upon a time...) I did nearly 16 000km. With good, but not great results. LOTS of empty miles. The next year (1st year engineering) I only did 10 000km, but I trained up Helshoogte during the odd break between classes - and I had the best year ever - Quality normally outperforms quantity!!
