Desperately looking to get one myself.

My challenge is finding one compatible with XO twistshifters?

I can't be dislocating my thumb trying to operate the switch?

Can anyone post pics with a dropper /twistshifter combo?

Bwhahahaha sorry finger trouble and autocorrect on the tablet. Changed it now :cursing:

A friend of mine tests/photographs bikes for a living (a real bummer). So the one day he gets a Spesh with a command post. Now the tester who had the bike before him is just a slight bit taller....

That's the shock loc out but the (hydraulic) remote for the seat post is exactly the same but on the other side

KS Lev. Works well as i am a long way from the ground when descending. One of my must haves when i put my bike together. Finding the right place for the lever is a problem all round. Twist shift, triggers etc, it gets a bit complicated and i sometimes still press the wrong button.

I have one. RS Reverb

I was pricing my bike yesterday again and was quite surprised to see it is now R1000 more than what I paid for it less than a year ago.

I will deffo put it on my next (AM/trail) bike too.

That comes right the more you use it. I find myself using my dropper way more than just the obvious 'trail points downhill' and jumps and drops. Helps you to continually position your weight to stay balanced and become much more active on the bike.

Ie. tech uphills, fast corners, hopping obstacles, practising manualling, wheelies and stoppies... riding skinnies etc.

I prefer to use a RHS lever then fit it on the left on the bottom of the bar. That makes it a heck of a lot easier to actuate with my left thumb. No need for a big hand movement.

KS is ODI grips compatible which means the lever can replace the inner lock ring of your grips. Moves it in closer, keeps things neater.

I have the new spez command post IR and it is the business. Three settings is just right. I have not once bruised my balls. My technical riding has improved ridiculously. Love it.

When I ride my little 4X bike I find myself reaching my thumb over to actuate the non-existant dropper post. Funnier still is that I do this before even changing gears.

Where do you guys ride that you need a dropper post?

I can understand on a DH bike doing DH tracks but on a XC bike or a hardtail why? I have not seen any cross country trails that require the seat to be dropped.

Must be this golf thing, but then that is just me. if it works for you go for it.

I don't think its a need as much as a convenience thing...just makes a bit easier.

Same can be said for suspension, you can ride everything with a rigid fork....but its easier on the hands and skill required if you do have suspension fork so you can go a bit faster
